PAULA ROSSEAU, Para além do arco-íris | PAULA ROSSEAU, Beyond the rainbow

Mais um passeio num destes nossos dias de férias que passaram a correr, fomos até à Galeria Municipal Vieira da Silva, no Parque da Cidade, em Loures. É o edifício cuja fachada pertencia ao pavilhão do Oriente, durante a Expo 98. Patente ao público está uma exposição da artista plástica Paula Rosseau. Atualmente esta artista trabalha essencialmente na área da joalharia têxtil, criando, por exemplo, acessórios para as coleções da TM Collection. 

Esta é uma exposição que vale sobretudo pela estética, pessoalmente gosto muito de grande parte das peças expostas. É uma exposição pequena que se vê num instante. Até 3 de Outubro, podem visitá-la na integra, pois embora esteja visitável até 31 de Outubro, a partir de dia 3 deixará de se poder visitar a instalação que se encontra na sala Multiusos do Parque da Cidade e que é, para mim, parte essencial da exposição. 

One of ours vacation days, we went to the Municipal Gallery Vieira da Silva, in the City Park, in Loures. It is the building whose facade belonged to the East Pavilion, during Expo 98. Patent to the public is an exhibition by the artist Paula Rosseau. Currently this artist works primarily in textile jewelery area, creating, for example, accessories for TM Collection.

Personally, I loved this exhibition essentially for aesthetics reasons.  It is a small exhibition that you see very quickly. Until the 3rd October, you can visit it fully, although it is open to visitors till the 31st October, from the 3rd you will no longer be able to visit the installation that is in the multipurpose room of City Park and it is, for me, essential part of the exhibition.

O Museu Nacional de Arte Contemporânea e a sua extensão à Rua Capelo | The National Museum of Contemporary Art and its extension to Capelo Street

Um destes fins de semana de verão fomos visitar o MNAC. Não conhecia a nova área (a extensão à Rua Capelo). Gostei muito do ambiente. A decoração foi toda pensada com fundo branco, de modo a tornar as obras de arte os únicos pontos de cor. Não é inédito mas resulta sempre bem. Os painéis de azulejos que proliferavam naquelas instalações foram cuidadosamente tapados de modo a ficarem preservados para o que o futuro vier a reservar àquele espaço. Aproveitámos o mesmo bilhete (4,5 €) para revisitar as instalações originais do museu e as exposições temporárias aí patentes. Foi uma tarde muito bem passada. Recomendo!

One of these summer weekends we went to visit the MNAC. I didn't know the new area (the extent to Capelo Street). I enjoyed the environment. The decor was all thought out with white background, so as to make works of art the only color points. It is not unheard of but results always good. The tiles that proliferated in those facilities were carefully covered so that they are preserved for whatever the future reserves to that space. We took the same ticket (€ 4.5) to revisit the original premises of the museum and the temporary exhibitions there patents. It was an afternoon very well spent. Recommend!

O Príncipe Real tem mais encanto.... | The Príncipe Real (Royal Prince) has more charm....

O Príncipe Real é um lugar cheio de boa energia, muita animação, muitas lojas diferentes, gente gira e animada. É um lugar mágico onde cada vez gosto mais de passear. Desta vez fomos à "Embaixada", um novo conceito de zona comercial, cheio de "glamour", com muitas lojas giras e algumas em conceito de "pop up store". Muitas marcas portuguesas marcam presença neste espaço. entre elas destaco a "Cortebel" e a "Loja do Borel".
Para além de toda esta boa agitação na "Embaixada", ainda decorria a Feira de Artesanato do Príncipe Real", onde, uma vez mais, temos o que é nacional a dar cartas. Muitos artesãos a venderem os seus bonitos e inovadores projetos, em muitas áreas de atividade.
Foi uma tarde muito bem passada.

Príncipe Real is a place full of good energy, lots of entertainment, many different shops, beautiful and lively people. It is a magical place where I love to take a walk. This time we went to the "Embaixada", a new concept of shopping area, full of "glamour", with many beautiful shops, some of them under the "pop up store" concept. Many Portuguese brands are present in this space,  I highlight the "Cortebel" and "Borel Shop."
In addition to all this good stirring in the "Embaixada", was ongoing the Prícipe Real Craf Fair, where, once again,  the national products deal the cards. We can see many artisans selling their beautiful and innovative projects, in many areas of activity.
It was a very well spent afternoon.

A Sam foi à praia | Sam went to the beach

Os dias soalheiros convidam a passeios ao ar livre. Estão de volta os passeios com os cães, vamos voltar a viver o sol e o aconchego da vida ao ar livre. A praia do Guincho é sempre um bom destino, muito frequentada por amigos de 4 patas.
A Sam não podia ter ficado mais contente! Correu, brincou, escavou, caminhou e molhou as patas, sempre com cuidado para não passar disso mesmo.
Os donos também gostaram e prometeram que iriam repetir a passeata muitas vezes este Verão.

The sunny days invite outdoor walks and outdoor tours with the dogs are back, we will live the sun again and the warmth of outdoors. Guincho beach is always a good destination, with lots of 4 paws' friends.
Sam could not have been more pleased! She ran, played, excavated, walked and wet her feet, always being careful not to go further than that.
The owners also liked and promised that they would repeat the walk often this summer.
